The Parsi animal yard in Pitkäaho Mikkeli (Haukivuori) - Eläinpiha Parsi Mikkelin Pitkäahossa / Osoite-Adress: Tattarikantaantie 457 - 51260 Pitkäaho Mikkeli Finland

  The Parsi animal yard with a small cafe is a warm place where visitors can get to know the animals up close. There are two ponies, four alpacas, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, rooster, two parrots, two pigs, cows, turkeys and geese.. And Playground for children. 

The animal yard is open until August 7th (2026), open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 11-5pm. 

Eläinpiha on avoinna 7. elokuuta 2026 asti, avoinna keskiviikkoisin, torstaisin ja perjantaisin klo 11-17.  Poneja, alpakoita, lehmiä, sikoja, hanhia. kalkkunoita, kanoja, kukko, kaneja, papukaijoja, vuohia, lampaita ym.

Olavinlinna Castle in Savonlinna and some photos nearby /9.7.2026

 The construction of Olavinlinna Castle began in 1475. The Danish-born founder of the castle, knight Erik Axelsson Tott, decided that a powerful fortification should be built to protect the strategically important Savonia region. The castle was to repel Russian attacks from the east and to guarantee the control of the Savonia region for the Swedish Crown.
